I love cups, mugs, music and books. A wonderful little stocking stuffer - dare I say it? - a delight kit and a good read for those that would imagine sitting across from a musical genius; Coffee With Mozart by Julian Rushton.

Finding a piece of art in all I view... As I began writing this entry, I thought it would be a great opportunity to display and share how every day the simplest thing captivates my thoughts. I captured the cup and saucer (pictured) from the
NIKKO Ceramics Elegant Collection, Silk Black on white bone china. As mentioned these collection pieces inspired by the textures and weaves of raw silk and feature platinum bands. The coffee spoon is from the Villeroy & Boch NewWave Caffe collection.

It is not our mother's fault. As a little girl, I thought my mother was too girly. Nonetheless, our path met as mother and daughter through music, art, and reading. Since an early age, I understood that not only would I be a strong and wise woman, but also deep-rooted in the cultural arts. Often I thought she was running an etiquette school. My first set of personalized stationery and note cards bearing my name by age ten. So then, there was me walking across the room balancing a book on my head or sitting straight up in a chair to practice good posture. Of course today, I have the worst posture! I fought against it all, ballroom dance: Waltz or Foxtrot. However, I fell in love with formal place settings; a simple enjoyment of laying things out and eyeing the different pattern and textures.  At the end of dinner, I would patiently wait for a cup and saucer, sugar and creamer set, and two Andes Mints.

Mommy moment and tips: My son, who was four at the time, received his first CD player and three CDs from me featuring classical composers, Mozart, and Beethoven; jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker. As I reflect back, during the later stage of my pregnancy, it seems as though the sound of music allowed him to relax on those hectic nights of constantly moving. So it is no wonder from age 4 to 9-years while, at home, he would only sleep or do homework listening to any one of them.

Who is Sir Paul McCartney, You Rang?

Kanye West released a new single, ' Only One'  (a tribute to his mother) featuring English musician and songwriter Paul McCartney. Well, the Twitter kids clapped back with "Who is Paul McCartney?" Of course, it is not the first-time social media reacts in a friendly reminder fashion of WIPM (Who Is Paul McCartney). In 2012, folks asked the same question after Paul McCartney's performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Is it a big joke, can these kids visit Uncle Stevie (Wonder) and have him play 'Ebony and Ivory'. I might be the only one thinking the collaborative duo of Kanye and Paul reminds me of the masterminds of creative art and passion, between Michael Jackson Did Paul McCartney just eat his words? Back in November, Paul McCartney discussed 'Hope for the Future' with Lily Cole and Impossible.com Songwriting Talk . Also on hand was PaulMcCartney.com ,  in a Q&A with fans referring to kids studying pop-music with the Beatles as...
